The shoulders surmounted by a short neck, descending over the rounded shoulder to steep tapered sides supported on a flat foot, covered to the exterior in an aubergine-blue glaze, the base and interior unglazed.

China, late 17th century.
Height : 27 cm (10.6 inches). Diameter : 9 cm (3.5 inches)
